AMERICAN ZIONISM and U.S. FOREIGN POLICY 1942—1947 (1962. 1970)

This study, first published by Pageant Press (New York, 1962), discusses the Zionist strategy and activity in the United States during the decisive five years preceding the United Nations General Assembly resolution calling for the partition of Palestine in November 1947. It sets forth the links between the Zionist activity and the development of American diplomacy. The study describes how the Zionists succeeded in building up a strong interest group which could influence the American political system to adopt its program as part of American foreign policy.
